Helping family member with grandfathers guns/ Mak 90

IMO opinion, it's worth a lot more to a collector than a shooter. I just paid 1100 for used and abused Maadi with the thumbhole stock.


Let me see if I can find out what some collectors might be paying.

1600 to 2000 on this site. But they are converted. Only 2 listed.

 
Here’s a couple of pictures with the bolt back. I’m unsure if you can see if it’s a slant or straight cut in these photos.

No can’t really tell… can you take the stock off and post a photo of the receiver. This would be better. Also don’t agree with the 2,000 dollar evaluation. I’d say 800-1000
 
That rifle's unfired. Please do not put a flathead tool on that stock's screw, nor its pistol-grip's flathead bolt.. you won't be able to avoid marring them up.

Of course do what you want, it's your rifle.
I’m not going to mess with it. I’ll leave that up to the new owner. But the insides are clean!
