Got you. I was in the business years ago but did more installation than service work, just always taught to check the obvious first. Assume nothing etc.

Ive overlooked the obvious many times. Kinda hoping I did this time too. I went and rechecked all the resistance on the motor leads. They check out fine. Filter was changed back in August. I just put a new one in even though the old one doesnt appear to be that bad. Fingers crossed .
