I stepped on a 15g interior finishing nail today from a baseboard. Guessing about an inch of it went inside my foot. Gave it a wash with peroxide but Im not sure how clean it got it. Since this aint a rusty nail, do I need to worry about tetanus? Ive had a shot but I dont know if it was within the last 10 years. Should I be worried?

I would definitely watch for red swelling and a line heading up your foot toward your heart. Red line indicates blood poisoning.
I'm no doctor but I would soak it as much as I could in hot water and Epsom salts.

I am not a nurse but I stayed in a holiday inn express last night....

They are good for 10 to 15 years, with that said if it was me I would get one. Nailed my hand to a 2x4 once, nail gun was set on multi fire. Had to cut the nail head off, pulled my hand off of the board and headed to doctor for a booster shot.
Wash it with soap and water some peroxide and finished my job. Hurt like hell for several weeks.

Apparently it was on full semi auto
