"High End" bolt actions

Start of the **** stir:
Now, for my little stir the **** pot post. What is it with all the local gun stores making their "High end" bolt actions. There's not even a range. Just 2K plus rifles. It's got to be a small group of people that are buying these things, and really, how many "Range Bros" are their to support it. My 2 cents, have a few levels in there... have your Gucci bolt action, that will most likely never see the woods, and have a base, and mid range. Else your pretty parts are just going to sit there collecting dust, or maybe not, what the h... e.. double hockey sticks do I know.

Guess I'm just one of the Poors... (1500 is the most I've paid for a pew) and will stick to a average 308 bolt action, seems they still kill deer just as good.

I've seen some expensive rigs at NRL-22 shoots. Imagine it's worse at PRS matches.

Some people can afford expensive things. More power to them.
I try to just stay just above the complete crap line.

Target market is the Glock bois with peen envy and a thigh holster.

I don't get into the crazy $$$ rifle game - but I can get kind of stupid at the shotgun level!

I guess... the only reason I have a DDM4V7 is because USCCA and DD had some sort of deal to give members 30% off. Had to take that deal. Still haven't shot it.

I'm a mid of the road buyer. Tires, everything... Don't go high end, don't go bottom of the barrel, either.

I shoot regularly with guys that have 10,000-12,000 in their 22lr rifles. $4000 of that is scope. lol
