Heck, at least your honest about it, you wouldn't believe how many people I've hired that were "experienced" and couldn't load their own toolbelt. Unfortunately for them, electrical work is not one of those 'fake it til you make it' kind of jobs!Dang, you lost me at “ basic electrical knowledge, the ability to understand blueprints, use electrical test tools (multi-meter) and bend conduit.”
I mean, I have SOME electrical experience. I literally had a lightning bolt hit about 20 ft in front of me while standing and for a brief moment I somehow learned karate of the highest level. Does that count?Heck, at least your honest about it, you wouldn't believe how many people I've hired that were "experienced" and couldn't load their own toolbelt. Unfortunately for them, electrical work is not one of those 'fake it til you make it' kind of jobs!
Yup, I can see it now…….I pitty you....trying to hire folks today has got to be an experiement in futility....I can't even think of the applicants you get....if you get any.....please keep us posted

It ain't rocket science.......But there is physical work......In the elements.....And travel away from homeDang, you lost me at “ basic electrical knowledge, the ability to understand blueprints, use electrical test tools (multi-meter) and bend conduit.”
Exactly...Yup, I can see it now…….
Can I work from home????
Well, at least it's low voltage.........🤣Heck, at least your honest about it, you wouldn't believe how many people I've hired that were "experienced" and couldn't load their own toolbelt. Unfortunately for them, electrical work is not one of those 'fake it til you make it' kind of jobs!
I already do all that except the away from home.It ain't rocket science.......But there is physical work......In the elements.....And travel away from home
We've had people hired here that worked in car audio installing radios. Somehow that translates into repairing multi-million dollar avionics assets...Heck, at least your honest about it, you wouldn't believe how many people I've hired that were "experienced" and couldn't load their own toolbelt. Unfortunately for them, electrical work is not one of those 'fake it til you make it' kind of jobs!
