Dang, you lost me at “ basic electrical knowledge, the ability to understand blueprints, use electrical test tools (multi-meter) and bend conduit.”
Heck, at least your honest about it, you wouldn't believe how many people I've hired that were "experienced" and couldn't load their own toolbelt. Unfortunately for them, electrical work is not one of those 'fake it til you make it' kind of jobs!

I mean, I have SOME electrical experience. I literally had a lightning bolt hit about 20 ft in front of me while standing and for a brief moment I somehow learned karate of the highest level. Does that count?

We've had people hired here that worked in car audio installing radios. Somehow that translates into repairing multi-million dollar avionics assets...
