HK USA coming “soon”

There are quite a few gun industry companies in GA. Not sure how many of those companies have people that work there that are on this site (I know of a few), but in many cases there are people that would possibly know some "inside information" about what those companies are doing currently or in the future. But they would probably not be at liberty to say "John Doe told me they are doing xxxx", or even "someone I know at the company said they are doing xxx". That's the way things go and people not providing their sources is more than likely a smart move (so their buddy doesn't get the axe or into legal trouble). I do some side work for a group that specifically has policy to not post anything related to said work online in any format.

As for PSA and HK, when a company is getting ready to come out with a new product, they tend to want to clear out their shelves of any old stock. PSA, PA, OP and a variety of other companies are good at moving excess/outdated inventory. So if you see a bunch of inventory for sale of a specific model, that could raise some suspicion that something new could be on the way. could be something as simple as "bold new graphics" or it could be a totally new design. given the press release, and the fact that they are located in GA, I would have guessed that someone here would have maybe a bit of "inside information" about what might be happening, or in progress. Whether they can post info is another issue. but I would guess if someone that seems to have some inside information but didn't want to post anything else, I'd take that at face value and move on. Obviously he's not at liberty to provide more details/background/sources, so if you don't believe him, move on. Or believe it and move on.

pretty simple IMHO and not sure why this turned in this direction. someone suggested that HK USA might be coming out with US specific weapons (as was listed in the actual letter that HK USA sent out). Great. I'm all for things designed for the US market and users. We are pretty unique compared to most of the rest of the world. Two thumbs up. For some reason, others think he's wrong because he won't provide a source. I don't get it.

Yes, it is possible.

Yes they have a great a business savvy/leadership that's made them millions upon millions.

I'd wager against their quality control and competency of their "Armorers" but as a hole company. No, I wouldn't.

I remember there "MP5" clones and 1911 that never really went anywhere. And that's just the low hanging fruit.

Their product line is a budget minded product line. Economy of scale, it works for them. It's made them the giant they are. And personally I believe dollar for dollar their products are superior to everyone else in the industry.

They abandoned the MP5 because after R&D they realized they couldn't make a MP5 that competed with imports like zeniths. Nothing wrong with that.

But that's besides the point that whether you like them or not, they definitely know how and when to move products. So I think it would be very silly to dismiss them blowing out neutered imported HK's at the same time HK is announcing un-neutered products coming soon literally next door to them as being connected.

It's not really that much of a stretch.

That's a very thought out and well written response.

Over Ruled.
