HK USP Stupid expensive now (not importing?)

Hello all,
Was just wondering what is the deal with USP HK pistols through the roof? Other fireams seem to have come back down but damn. All the trade in Sig p229 and usp pistols are crazy priced even in .40sw. I sure miss the Trump slump seriously can not find a usp for under a 1000 WTF. I paid 350 for one from Ed's guess those days are gone.

Yes, that is why I always change the detent plate to variant 9 and carry cocked and locked. Plus I don't care for the decocker.

I gave my USP 45 to my son for Christmas. I missed it and stumbled on a used USP 40 Expert with two mags, box and everything else from Cabela's for $750 a while back. They're out there. You have to dig. And get lucky.

You are right, just have to hunt and peck for a deal on one. Great pick up on the expert, amazing pistol.
