That is an IR scope, not a thermal.

True thermals start about 3 grand. Armasight makes some thermals.

I'd have my doubts but I agree, seems like a great bang for the buck if it's the real deal

I would agree with the other guys bang for the buck NV or thermal will not be worth it IMO.. image quality, ruggedness, reliability, I wouldn't want to walk in on a 300 pounder and have a gear issue. A good pvs14 and IR laser would work pretty well

Looks to be a nice gen 1.5 NV scope. They work even better with a larger illuminator than the one shipped with it.

That's what I understand. I'm gonna rock the illuminator it came with then upgrade when I feel the itch. It will be my first night vision, I'm sure it will serve its purpose!
