I've always shot with irons, and never really got into shooting with red dots, until recently.
I absolutely love the holosun scs-pdp that was made specifically for the Walther PDP. It looks super slick on the gun, and co witnesses really nice.
However, I do have pretty bad astigmatism and the number one thing I have to say about this dot, is when I look through it, it's so starburst... So much so that i believe it is honestly messing with my shooting?
Anyone else run into this issue when switching to carrying with a red dot?

Are there any quality dots out there, that specifically combat astigmatism?
It's honestly so bad to the point I am really considering swapping out the scs for a dot that I can actually see through lol

Pic just because lol

Yessir, not as bad when I am shooting outside as compared to indoor range, but even with turning it down it's like I'm looking at a big sun burst spot lol
My eyes are getting worse as I get older (the whole reason I'm moving to using a green/red dot)
I really need to go get new glasses as well, as my old ones definitely do not help with this issue lol

I would start with new glasses first .

You never know

What works for one's eyes doesn't for another. You have to look through them yourself to see.

The best I ever found was the old Leupold Delta point with triangle dot.

Your current sight may work better if you turn the brightness down.
