Holsters becoming more expensive?

One rule of business as I understand it is that when you have too much work, you raise your prices. If people keep buying, you get compensated for your overtime. Otherwise business slows down a bit and let's you catch up. If you have too little business, you lower your prices to get more work. Adjust as needed.
Yeah and I understand that. Part of me wants to be selfish and wish things went back to the way they were when they were a little less than $60 with all the bells and whistles haha.

Fact. But some people are charging more for the same stuff because of popularity. Hell ars are cheap as all get out, yet knights Armament went up 300$ this year. Riddle me that one

Prices are higher due to more and more “Florida man” happenings.
KAC is the local game in town, supply and demand?

He does offer an ODT discount and recently added a store front. Most online kydex holsters are going for around $100 or more.

Plus his attention to detail and warranty/ customer service is second to none. The ability to walk right in and talk to them and order and get exactly what you want is worth every penny.

And OP the 8 week lead time obviously means hundreds of people disagree with you.

What I can say from personal experience with Gearcraft is that I ordered the wrong holster (what I thought I wanted/needed but I was wrong), it took me a bit before I tried it and found out that I was wrong. Billie went above and beyond to take care of me, even though it was my mistake.

I'm not only sure he offers a odt discount code but I'm sure he would offer a military discount as well as bump you up in line so it won't take as long. You have to reach out to him or put it in the comments section. He takes care of odt people, i won't use nothing but gearcraft because he's local, started from here, customer service is great, product is great, and I've never had a issue.

I don't understand how people complain but don't reach out to people first. I've see it more than a few times on here for various things.

I think holsters are becoming more complex. Yes there are still basic kydex holsters. Many makers tweak for comfort, concealment etc. hardware changes adding hooks and tuck all add to the price of doing business

I just paid $20 shipped for a very decent carbon fiber IWB holster for my G30...G30 holsters aren't as common as many others, apparently, but after looking at various sites for a decent holster, I decided I would take a chance with flea bay. The guy is down in Jacksonville and I had my holster in 3 days. I have no complaints. It's a very decent holster. He also has a lifetime guarantee.

I'm not paying over $50 for a basic kydex holster.

I prefer loops over a clip, so I will most likely purchase a Cook's or NSR tactical down the road. This one is solid, though, and should be fine. This guy was selling so many of these he went up to $24 shipped after I bought this one. Still a great price...Unbeatable, really. I can send you a link if you want.
