it looks like they are gonna get me for another $29.97. i found a new LED flashlight but this one is 600 lumens (way brighter than the 493 we talked about in the other thread). drop tested from 30 ft (stated on package) and waterproof to at least 1 meter (stated on package). it has 3 settings, high, low and strobe. package states run time of 18 hours from 3 D cells (prob on low). (the 493 lumen has a 5 hour i think). i guess its goin in my pack friday, lol. i have to sneak it past my wife; since i have so many flashlights already (i have an LED addiction problem)

For $30 that's a feaking awesome light.

Unfortunately it's 13" long and takes (3) D batteries. Very heavy for a light.
