What upload speeds are you guys getting?

The best I've got off the basic box is 5mbps upload of 1.89

Mi-Fi is Verizon mobile 4G LTE service/doodad.

I have one work provides, but can also tether my phone as a hotspot if it messes up or I let the battery drain. As an xfinity customer, I can also leech onto all those open public hotspots they enable on home routers - which you can opt out of and should. I sue the Mi-Fi working remote or on the uber rare occasion my xfinity cable is out for long.

I believe they were $70/month unlimited data, but we're on a grandfathered corporate pool plan and that was also before VZW made all their plan changes, so who knows now.

The box is made by Qualcomm, as are likely all the others running 4G/LTE stuff.

are you on the uverse fiber? cause that is slow for them.

No, regular Uverse. No fiber in my area, and I am already paying $60 a month for it (promotional price, regular is extra $20, IIRC).

I am in the yellow but close to the edge of it on the map. Maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 mile. How close to the edge
are you guys located? Just curious if it will work for me.

I am very close to the edge, maybe a couple of hundred feet at most. I only get one bar. I average about 4mbs. As I stated earlier, Windstream was my only option before. My best with Windstream was about .9 and it was very unstable. Streaming was not practical. Now I am able to stream reliably. It is a winner for me. I cancelled Windstream. Better service and lower cost. Win/win as far I am concerned.

Another plus that I did not mention is that it is mobile and goes with you anywhere. If you don't have unlimited data on your phone, this is invaluable.

I am smack dab in the middle of 4G LTE, according to the Sprint map. Seems like a no brainer, but... How do you connect Ethernet divices to it?
I have my own VOIP telephone set up, plus desktop PC.
