Hornady xtp bullets yeah or neah,what does the tribe think.

One of the first Modern projectiles introduced and still a very formidal one.
excellent accuracy, dependable feeding and good expansion with medium to high FPS .
I use a lot of them in several calibers 380, 9 MM, 38 Super, 10 MM, 45 acp.
I don't think that any one modern hollow point is that much better than any other so I also load copper HP and Gold Dots, Golden Sabre but load more XTP than anything else.

In rare "sale" occasions, I would buy them. Otherwise, for plinking...I think it's like throwing money away. I tend to stick to LRN or SWC that are cheaper to put down range

Good choice for sure, accurate with several different charges, has always fed well for me.
Definitely would like to see some on sale soon.

actually if for plinking/target Hornady makes the HAP that is an exact replica of the XTP but not an expanding projectile & cheaper than the XTP.
they came out with the HAP due to the accuracy and feeding characteristics of the XTP.

Favorite in 44 for deer hunting. Doesn't really matter if they expand or not. But I get some awesome expansion.
