The Richway on Old National was my grandmother's favorite store. That's a blast from the past.

Was there two years in high school and my first year of college. Worked the night and weekend shifts in Receiving. We had a blast. This was before checkout scanners. The price tags were printed in the main receiving office from computer or manually by us in the "Cage". We were called up in the evening to grab shopping carts from the parking lot and worked cleaning the store from 0600 to 1159 on Sundays. Got time and a half for that. We actually removed the old cash registers and brought the new IBM or NCR cash registers to the front when the store upgraded. Fun times and good memories.
