How do you get away from life's stress/hardships?

I'm so damn busy with **** to do, I don't have time to dwell on the negative stuff. Exercise helps a ton, staying busy with work, family ,house and there's always someone who needs assistance with something. If you give an honest 100% effort at these things, lead a good moral life, you'll sleep like a baby and be happy with what you accomplish in life. There is no magic formula, but alcohol/drugs is a mask for true misery.

Never got into drugs or drinking, I just tend to hold things in

Sometimes a change of scenary does the trick. Pack a bag with 2 days worth of clothes, fill up the gas tank, go through a fast food drive thru on your way out of town for a road meal and ask the person at the window to pick a direction North, South, East or West. Drive in that direction they say until you have 1/4 tank of gas left. Get a room for the night, go online and see what the attractions are in that city. Check them out the next day. You will be surprised hidden places that Georgia has to offer.

Did some volunteer work this week at a childen's home with a bunch of coworkers.
Kids who have lost parents or have parents who are unable to care for them due to drug problems, etc.
Really helps put your head into perspective and makes you feel good.
We all came away wanting to do more for those kids.

If you dont mind me asking, which Childrens Home did you volunteer at?

Hell, I tried everything before I got my life together! Staying busy working, providing for a family and keeping it together is where it's at. It took me a while to figure out there is more to life than serving myself. It not easy, but it is rewarding.
