Yugo sks? Mineral spirits cuts right through all the cosmo for me. Damp rag of it for the stock then wipe down with clean T-shirt’s repeat until clean

Yep, it’s a Yugo M59/66. I bought it a couple of years ago back when the last batch hit the US market in big numbers. Finally got around to unpacking it today. Bolt is sitting in a bucket of kerosene and tomorrow I am going to clean up the stock.

I am religious about using nitrile gloves when working with grease, coatings, or solvents.
That being said, this one had a lot of Cosmo, but not like one of those sino-soviet Albanian rifles. That stuff gets everywhere!

Yes, but with an HRA '52 barrel 1+/2, almost new I guess.
