I'm now inspired to sell my FR-8
Milsurps have been the only thing selling IMO.Careful there....selling milsurps to buy a glock could jeopardize your C&R license
Food for them is the hardest part of collecting IMO, ive resorted to rolling my own. ESP for the semi autos. I don't trust a lot of the old ammo. Burn characteristics all out of spec from sitting.Milsurps have been the only thing selling IMO.
TBH I need ammo more than anything.
And also to finish my blue Gucci Glock
Hangfires can be kind of unnerving.Food for them is the hardest part of collecting IMO, ive resorted to rolling my own. ESP for the semi autos. I don't trust a lot of the old ammo. Burn characteristics all out of spec from sitting.

Ammo availability has kept me out of a lot of calibers that are pretty cool, like 6.5 Swede, 7.5 French, and the Swiss stuff... nevermind the 7mm Mauser stuff. After a while, it gets to be too much. It's hard enough juggling x39, x54r, .303, .308, 8x57, and 8x56r - and that's just for the C&R rifles. With the modern stuff and pistols, it's too much for the amount of shooting I get to do.
When I was a kid, I got to spend time on my Grandfather's farm and I would shoot all day long. Hopefully, I'll be able to retire to a similar property one day and do some casual shooting whenever I'd like.Yep...we never get enough range time
I scored some gp11 a while back at a small gun shop locally for around $.40/round and I bought every 10 round box they had. But haven’t seen any since so I’ve been sitting on the last couple hundred rounds. He also had HXP for fairly cheap. I visit his shop weekly to see if he’s put any other neat stuff out. I’ve bought dies for the 7.5 swiss, 8 Mauser and 30-06 just need 303 now. But loading the ammo for these old beauties is pretty satisfying for me so I don’t mind muchHangfires can be kind of unnerving.
