Yep tomorrow's match at Riverbend is a reduced HP match. Just 100 yards. Basically any bolt action or semi with irons is good to go.

As far as cmp.... Springfield pattern rifles can compete in the Springfield matches. 03 or 03a3
Mine is an early when they did heat treatment by eye so I don't really shoot it, would like an a3 to shoot though.

I have one M14 and well its a dang Beauty.
But I have to admit if I did not get the Machine gun I would not have sold my SOCOM M14 Ever!
I can afford many potato chips, maybe even a whole bag, but M1A I cannot.

I shot the Enfield I picked up 2 weeks ago. GOOD LORD. That is a stout gun. Shoots straight. Loads like a dream. I had one of the range officer at Riverbend give it a go. He digs it.
