Sorry but I'd be hard pressed to pay $600 for a post war No4 MkI even w 120 rounds.

Its been interesting to see all the M1A sales on here lately. Usually they just sit. Seems like $1000-1200 is the magic #

I think the cost of .308 drives this. I am convinced most people buy one and shoot it twice run out of ammo then sell it.

Dropped off a kid in the country at camp Grand parents and could not resist breaking out my Pearl Harbor 403K 1941 Garand .

Was shooting rapid sitting. Just 2 enblocs . Was shooting old fashioned HXP . Always a flyer

Years ago when I bought my first they seemed to be unobtanium. I have had more than 25 I am guessing. I like the rifle and know how to take apart, service and the main thing - put back together! I have to go see Steve Edwards soon to have a couple of the more special ones “tuned up”.
