A Springfield m1922 would be nice. How about you?
Absolutely!
A 1922 series rifle is mandatory for any serious US military arms collection. Just let me know when you are ready and I'll get you pointed in the right direction.

If one pops up YES! But I am at Heart a Garand Shooter.
So for me in no particular order...
Pre war Garand ( I love the low 6 digits)
M1903
1943 M1 Garand.
Here's a challenge for you!
A 1903A3, a 1922 M2, a M1 carbine and a M1 Garand all from the same production year. A quick check of the production numbers shows all four were still being produced in 1942 and 1943.

Does anyone know what a fair price is for a Remington 1903-A3 these days?
750-950, so many variables
Thanks. I found an decent looking one for $800. It has the RA and FJA inspection marks and the ordnance wheel though faint and looks to have been rebuilt in Ogden. I'm not sure if the barrel is original to the receiver but both seem to have been produced around the same.
I have to admit something that I'm ashamed of....... there is not a single laminated stock mosin in my collection
