FWIW, traditional archers are emulating hunters of the past, who were taking advantage of the best technology available in their time. No different than modern hunters. I bet you money that a Cherokee hunter from the 1750's would have given his left nut for a scoped rifle and a tree stand. Get over yourself.

I suppose he could defend his home with a flintlock too if he wanted....

Hunted most of my life and have as much passion for it as ever but at this stage mentoring my boys who themselves have become good hunters. Passing it on. Big game, have not hunted small game in many years though as a kid I hunted everything under 20 lbs. Most of my arsenal is hunting related. Wish I could do it for a living! lol
