how to delete ads?

You dont just close it.

If you want to have it deleted then edit the title to say "delete" and a mod will delete it for you

How does one edit an ad when the "Go Advance" button is not functioning? Seems I can mark an ad as "Gone" but cannot edit it at all?

once you mark it gone you cant edit it from what i have found let me know if i am wrong but once it is closed it is done !!!

Well, prior to marking it gone, I was unable to edit the ad. Now it is marked gone, I am locked out you say but I can reopen the thread and still cannot edit............ugh

I guess I will have to have someone with the the power to delete this ad.
