I learned that **** the hard way our first year here. I lived in Roswell and headed to FL for Thanksgiving around 2p/3p. My wife and I thought we'd get dinner around Valdosta. HOURS later, we're having dinner at Dennys in Locust Grove. Never again! Probably the only thing I like about Henry County. I take the backroads down to Forsyth and get on I75 going down and then off coming back.

Yup! And the wife thinks I'm crazy for waking up at 4a to head to work on office days.

There's definitely a sweet spot time wise and if you miss that window of opportunity you can have a very long day.

No but the drivers that are out there are either half asleep, drunk, stoned or a combination of all three.
Never let your guard down. The Atlanta freeways are always a "Deathrace".
