I've done it a few times. And with people from here I had never met. I was a little concerned but so far nobody has gotten shot. But I'm pretty easy going.I don't invite people to shoot anymore. In our overly litigious society there is just too much liability.
I guess you could create legal waivers but even then some sleezeball lawyer would find some way around it.
I wish it was like it used to be where you could just gather some folks together for a day of shooting but those days are gone
I like the implication.I've done it a few times. And with people from here I had never met. I was a little concerned but so far nobody has gotten shot. But I'm pretty easy going.
What ever happened with that?Look for a decent size piece of land. Get out and explore a little. If you find random pvc pipes sticking out of the ground that’s your spot. You can do anything you want on that land and do it nekid if you like.

I do like the sound of that but I need to stay about 30 mins from downtown for work. I've looked into buying 5 acres or so with my buddy of the cheapest vacant land in cartersville but being young makes it a hard expense to justify.I shoot out in my backyard My advice is move to the country pass the city limit signs Live the good life Green Acres is the place you want to be Don't load up the truck and move to Beverly hills that ain't the place you wanna be
Still happens sometimes in areas outside of Cook County, IL. I met some great people up there, country folks. We'd get together on farms and shoot all day (some fantastic farmland up there compared to most dirt scratching Georgia farms I've seen) then have a potluck supper inside a large metal or wooden barn set up with folding tables. All Yankees ain't bad people.I don't invite people to shoot anymore. In our overly litigious society there is just too much liability.

I wish it was like it used to be where you could just gather some like minded folks together for a day of shooting but those days are gone.
