It's a good article, and an important subject.

What's the #1 problem most managers of businesses have? Do you think it's the costs of overhead? Availability of raw materials or component parts? Government regulation? No. The number 1 complaint of business mangers is that their employees have petty feuds and create drama in the workplace. Some people thrive on being troublemakers, and a lot more people enjoy watching and feeling the drama unfold around them. It's thrilling.

And then the other issue is employees who are "rebels" who won't obey the rules. They want to push boundaries CONSTANTLY to see how much they can get away with. They don't really have any respect for the boss, for the company, or the system. They just want to do the minimum required to get the benefits. And the same will be true for these jerks when they're in your prep group. They'll only want to work on the projects THEY consider important, and won't contribute without a lot of pressure.

When you're dealing with a bunch of armed men under a lot of stress, having rebels and moochers and drama-craving attention whores among you can be a deadly threat.

Extremist nuts have ruined two good ideas:

Prepping
and
A citizen's militia.

Thanks to all the psychos and tinfoil-hat conspiracy types out there, most regular Americans shy away from these activities (at least when it comes to associating with other people to do them and promote them).
