I use bottle rockets. I love far enough in the country though, that I could use a mortar if I could get one and nobody would care.

I like that! Good excuse to buy a mortar!
A well-trained Black Lab will do the trick. Won't kill a single one, but will harass them continually until they leave for good. Plus, since it's a Lab, it will easily learn where your property end and your neighbor's begins, so you don't have to worry about it wondering off.

We have a huge problem with them around the lake. Several people have started to string two rows of fishing line around their yard like a fence. One row is about six inches off the ground and the other is about a foot high. Something about it that they wont cross it. Several have said that it works, but this is primarily used to keep them from walking into the yard from the water. Not sure it would be effective if they are flying onto your property.
