I tried a coyote years ago. Doesn’t phase them. They’ll look at him, study it and if he doesn’t move, they’ll walk right past him.

They could careless. If you can’t kill them scare them for two weeks and find their nest and destroy the eggs.

Guys, thanks for the great info above. A dog is definitely in our future, but being that the kids and wife are involved, will be a longer decision process.

However, I love any chance to buy a new gun. Soooo, I decided on a Crossman DPMS SBR:

Not that I want to kill them, but, spraying the area from 50 yards or so away should provide for some amusement. And if they die, they die.

I have a Lancer Tactical airsoft rifle that I use for some training purposes - accurate with some great range - use biodegradable BBs. Full auto works great too . . .

I’m in Cherokee county too. Sept 7-29 is the first Canada Goose season I’ll come clear your field in the mornings lol.

you'll like that gun! I bought one at a Boy Scout Benefit auction in the spring, It's very fun to shoot, just aggravating loading the magazine!

Canadian illegal immigrants....build a wall, a YUGE wall.

Seriously some fireworks, roman candles well aimed would be fun, the kind that explode at the end. Had some years ago to chase the squirrels out of my tall pines in the backyard.

Geese are stupid but have a great memory. Kill one and they won’t come back. Not saying it’s a good (or always legal) option, but I do not put up with those stupid birds.
Geese are a federal migratory bird, protected by the Federal Gov.and they can instill heavy fines for killing the bastards.
