For roughly 30 years, the army has been using the 80’s era Howitzer cannon. As you might expect, it isn’t quite meeting up to the threat of its equivalent in other countries. The previous version only had a range of about 18.6 miles, which is quite a contrast to this new version that is set to reach up to 43.5 miles (70 km).

Wonder what they'll eventually do with all the old, outdated Howitzers nobody wants? That would be a fun NFA/DD acquisition. Maybe you could rig it to fire a bucket of paintballs or something.
