hows your gun safe?

Nice safe! Seriously consider bolting it down though. Knew a guy who had his safe yanked through the outside wall of his singlewide trailer while he was at work! They unscrewed the tin siding, wrapped a strap around the safe, backed the truck up to the hole, pushed/pulled the safe into the back of the truck and drove off. He lost everything including that safe. It was someone he knew as they knew right where everything was but they were never caught. Key advice here is to hide it and secure it. Trust me a thief can move a safe a heck of a lot faster than you can!

well unfortunately due to my living situation at the time I can not bolt it down but when I get to a more long term location it will get bolted down

Can you get some lag bolts and bolt it to the wall studs?

If you don't make it a little difficult then all you have done and consolidate all your weapons into a big metal box for someone.

I use a set of gym lockers from the gym I used to own. Not the best, but I like my odds. And I don't seem to keep anything long enough to bother with humidity concerns.

no I wish I could. fortunately someone is always home and not all the guns are in there if you get my drift lol

I got ya. I'd still find some way to secure it. If anything, it could really hurt someone if it tipped over. I know on mine, if the door was wide open it literally took nothing to get it to tip. IMO, Securing it to a stud in the wall would be your best option just from a safety stand point.
