Huge mess..punished for owning guns!?!

as i already stated the rifle i was looking at was prior to the TPO and being told to stay away from firearms etc. As for the rest of your post. I am in the GA Army National Guard. so i have a full time job, Im currently working as an EMT for an ambulance company, but was hoping to pursue a career in law enforcement, i applied with a security firm as well several months ago in order to gain some experience that might help me obtain a job with a police dept or sheriffs ofice. I keep hearing that i have access to good legal services and consulting and all of this from everybody, but have no idea how to go about getting this legal help. My unit is just returning from a deployment and has been less than helpful, due to the amount of things going on right now with them returning. So im not sure how to go about getting all this help.

Klark - I just looked at the TPO the judge signed it on May-21 so technically i was not allowed to possess a firearm as of that point, however it was not served to me until May27th.

Your the one that said "Army", you say your unit returned from deployment, not "we" returned so I wonder big time if this is fabricated or what. I'm inclined to agree with the Judge by the wording of your post, maybe I'm wrong but instincts usually win out. Regardless of my opinion, do seek help.
my unit did just return. WE did not. I did not deploy. When i returned from training my unit had already left so i was on rear detachment until they came home a few months ago. I was hoping to volunteer to deploy with another unit in early 2011 but cant, obviously i cant train, and i am in the ARMY. my uniform says US ARMY. Army National Guard is still ARMY.
We should start a pool, Ive got 10 bucks on it. I wish I could give more but Im a broke college student. Thats $80 right there, I bet with enough publicity on this site we could come up with at least a couple hundred. Ill do whatever I can to help a soldier in need. Thank you for my freedom Godfather!
I appreciate that streetroc. It was Hobos idea originally, i was only looking for some advice from other outdoorsmen. The kindness of some people really brightens things up in such dark times.
hey that sounds good to me lol. im not sure that i will actually need help financially. I dont like the idea of accepting money from anybody without earning it. Im working on trying to get the bank to help me out with one more loan to get this damn psych eval done. theyre iffy though because i bought a house last year, and a truck this year, plus i had to get a loan to get the lawyer. I am trying to sell a few things to make up the cash though. Still the fact that you guys were willing to help a complete stranger is beyond words. I cant even describe how much i appreciate that amount of generosity. Hopefuly ill be able to take care of it myself though.
I know theres not much of a bright side to this, but i seen where you said you couldn't go hunting and got to thinking. The judge said you couldn't be around firearms, technically you could have a bow to hunt with. And im sorry to hear about your situation. my ol' lady thinks its really wrong what your ex did to you.
