I have been building this M1 for the last 2.5 Months. She is a 1945 Springfield Armory 3.4 Mil Receiver with original barrel.

Parts. - Internals - Ordered all from CMP. All USGI SA re-parked look awesome.

Sights - USGI (Not lock bar.)

Trigger Group USGI-SA-12

Gas Cylinder, Lock, Plug - SA USGI

OP ROD - ITALIAN.- BERETTA. ( So slick)

Bolt - USGI NOS RIA- 65

All Stock metal is new manufacture.

Stock - Bought a $25 USGI Trash stock and brought her back to life. Thanks @Shrevy.

I ironed the stock for dents, Hand Sanded, Jerry Rigged the Butt Plate but it works.

Took 6-7 Coats of Watco Danish Oil finish to get that look.

I got the HandGuards from @will4me Thanks man!

I loaded a en bloc in her and closed the bolt. - Did fine. Opened the bolt and PING! Passed the ping test.

I also checked head space yesterday! Thanks alleycat alleycat for the field gauge.

Enjoy my limited pics. I have kids all over the house my wife at home. i had literally 5 mins of peace to take these.

All I have left to purchase is a front stacking swivel for the gas cylinder assembly.

Lastly she needs a lube and oil job.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang PING!~!

Now THAT'S what I call a build!
It is a wild deal to do this. Many of the parts came from collectors on the CMP forums as far away as OH, CT, MI, all over the country. You have not lived until you mail a complete stranger a USPS money order and pray to god they send you the parts. But they did.
