I owned a 5906 and 5646. The Ruger p85/89 are excellent also. I remember that s&w model 59 I had. That single action trigger was amazing.

HK VP 70Z comes to mind. Double action only with a very heavy trigger pull. Also P7, hasn't been in production for quite a while and will cost a mint if you can even find one for sale. Highly revered pistol

Sorry, but the H&K "Volkspistole" was the first handgun built with a Polymer Frame--They beat Gaston G's bunch to "Plastic Perfection" by about 12 years--FUGLY beast it is, tho', and the trigger pull IS Atrocious!
