I carry a bugout with aluminum scales every day and have for years. It's a great knife but there are alternatives. I choose not to send them any more money though.

Think of the children, man. They can't have these things roaming the streets. My only experience with benchmade turned me off from them enough to never consider them again.
Had a benchmade for a few weeks before I noticed a screw and this little sleeve that holds the grip panels together had fell loose at some point and were missing.
Benchmade would send me the screws, but refused to send the little sleeve or let me buy one claiming it was a "internal part" and it's against their policy to sell or send out internal parts.
I tried, as politely as possible to reason with them but they double downed on how I would need to go through the annoying and expensive process of shipping an auto knife to them just to replace this little sleeve that
could be done in 3 minutes on a kitchen table.
I just can't deal with that kind of fuddishness.
Between that and the fact their knives quality don't live up to the price tag I have no interest in ever owning another.

that's an Assault Knife though. You can't really expect them to just ship out parts for an assault knife... And why in the world would anyone NEED a knife that the blade popped out that fast?My only experience with benchmade turned me off from them enough to never consider them again.

In for explanation...😎Which reminds me.Cadcom ended up buying that claymore from me, did they ever fix it for you?
Yes, the Civivi is pretty much amazing at the price point, I contemplated switching my Kershaw for it. Everything I need in a daytime carry... light, great texture/grip, and of course with the almost daily change in product line it is discontinued for now.I do collect a lot of knives but Benchmade has completely lost it for about a year. Their newest Narrow series is over 500. For that much you can get into some custom and or semi custom knife companies. Bought a Adamas about about a year and a half ago. Very smooth knife but it will be my last Benchmade. Spyderco has also went up but not as much as Benchmade. Lately I have bought several Civivis. Those Chinese boys have upped their game in knife making. Unlike American knife companies that come out with new models once a year, Civivi seems to produce new models every month.

He got me @ "Claymore".Fatal posted up a Mini Claymore a few months ago for a steal. It was missing a pin (red circled area) and I think he wasnt crazy about their response (But I cant remember all the detailsFatal_Bert ). I grabbed it and it became my EDDCK (Every damn day carry knife) I like the two so much that my other Benchmades just sit in the dark, in their lil' boxes. If anyone is interested in a black, non serrated blade Adamas for sale or trade lemme know!
