Split wood from a few trees I dropped 2 years ago. There was a hickory and a white oak and a pin oak tree that needed to be removed. Tree guys left me the trunks and a few of the larger limbs.

It's all cut up and split.

I've had it under tarps but with the winds and weather its mostly exposed. I have all the wood I want from these stacks but if its not burned soon it will rot. I would say about 20% is on it's way to rotting now.

If anyone wants this just come get it but please take it all. I don't want picked through wood in my back yard. I think there is at least two usable cords left.

PM if interested and for directions. I'm am home most of the time. Can drive a pickup and trailer right up to it easy.

That's great firewood for someone closer to heat with. If you still have it this weekend it may be worth me making a trip up.

The top picture... deck poles are 7' 6" across x 3 stacks deep. Tallest stack is 5'. Against the fence is single stack 3' high x 16' long.

I'm having the deck rebuilt so this wood must be moved by the 24th. I burn about 1/4 cord a year if that so by the time I burn all this it will rot away and be useless. I'd rather give it away than let it rot.

I pulled back the trap so you could see the back side. When handling this wood you may get 1 in 10 feel light and the bark turned to dust but that's not the meat of wood.

Come get it. This has to be a first come first serve but.... you must take it all please.

Trying to help in anyway I can... I have a 5 x 8 landscape trailer you can use as long as you bring it back. :D:D

Hummmmm, may have to hold a new 1911 or something until you do. LOL

Playing this fair...

K3 has first dibs on the firewood as per post above.

225skeeter sent a PM so he's #2 in line.

K3 what's on yer mind? Your wood or give it to Skeeter this weekend?

Wow!!! What a generous offer. If you have any left over, I'd be more than happy to take it and pay it forward, with a giveaway or something like that.

Still waiting on K3 to answer and he is in Dalton

Skeeter is in Douglasville and H4zY is in Holly Springs which is right next door.

The wood is ready to be picked up but I don't want to cause grief who gets and who doesn't. I would really appreciate it if you guys would chime in and speak with each other. Such as, if K3 can't make it this weekend chime in and let SKeeter know and so on.

If I remember correctly a cord is 8 x 4 x 4? If that's so there will be right at two cords to haul off. It won't fit in the bed of one full size 8' truck bed.

Thanks guys for working this out. Who ever is coming can PM me and I'll call you with the address but I'm right off 140 near E Cherokee.
