Obama's DEI ATC hires don't have the talent. The techs that maintain the equipment don't have the skills that us old guys have, and the airlines treat us like cattle unless you purchase a first class ticket. We will fly 1 time to go to Scotland/Ireland next year.

Same here. It used to be classy, clean and polite people. Now it’s Carnival Cruise lines/Marta rolled into to one miserable travel experience. I have flown all over, but now we never fly because of the deterioration of the experience. We prefer to drive and have good company sitting all around us in a clean environment, pack what we want and we don’t have to listen to anyone’s lip!

While we are hearing things about air travel, there was a since of relief in Miatadude ‘s post that made me sense that he is getting off the ride before the major nuts and bolts come loose.

I retired today from the FAA. Going to blast my alarm clock with a 12 gauge in a few. Going to sell our place here then move to Mississippi. Here is a pic of what we are buying over there.

I am doing the same and moving to Wyoming, Die a Cowboy what better could a boy wish for.
