I can't do BeenieWeenies either and I think it's because they're sweet. I don't like sweet or even bbq/ Manwich flavored beans. I don't do baked beans for the same reason.

Love me some sweet baked beans. It's like a meal and dessert at the same time.

Never tried Alpo so I wouldn't know. Are you guessing or speaking from experience?

I had a roommate in Germany who decided to live off wet dog food in garrison because he didn't want to walk to the chow hall in winter. I walked in and he was eating it straight out of the can. Backed out, gathered witnesses, and returned. He let me know later he didn't stop because we made fun of him. He said "the gravy was too rich and I didn't think I could keep it down." I wonder what that man is doing today.

I used to keep several cans in the pantry.

Ain't had none in the pantry but I used to keep a few mergency cans in the dash of my truck
I'd forget they were there for a while then open the dash and see um and go hot dam it's Christmas!!
