Me and you have something in common. It took us twice to learn our lesson. Looking back on it all I can honestly say I don't miss it. I get to do what I want , when I want, I don't have to get up and go somewhere when I don't have to go somewhere, I don't want to take on a project I don't want to do, I don't have to spend money when I don't want to spend money, I don't have hear the endless drama of the soap opera and the list goes on and on and on and on. To make a long story short ” never again ".

First time in my adult stationary life I haven't had a cat. After the "Famous Mr Boots" died from bobcat fever it was so heartbreaking I just couldn't bring myself to get another one.
I guess it was the right call because whoever is in charge of the Cat Distribution Network hasn't seen fit to gift me with another one.

Cats can sense "their people" (also known as "suckers")
I've been at people's houses when their cat walks in, owner says "that cat hates people" just before it jumps into my lap and curls up. That's usually followed by "you want that cat?".
I've always liked cats because they're so dam independent.

Their attitudes sure are similar. One minute they're snuggling up against you rubbing on you and want love the next minute they're ready to tear your eyes out with their claws. And if they don't want to be touched by God they let you know. I'd say women have more in common with cats than anything does with anything else.
