I have not fired a rifle since this whole crap started. Saving my ammo for the moment. My vz58 is still unfired. Its a shame. Oh well though. Got other pistols and a boatload of 9mm

I am about to go bust some .22 now in the quantity of about 500. I too am hoarding my .223

.22 is definitely a way to satisfy the itchy trigger finger. I saw a nice Walther P22 for sale on here for $275! That's a good price! I have one myself and love shooting it!!!
Whenever there is an ammo scare/scarce issue, I get my target time in on the archery range. I hung a target at the far end of my pavilion and shoot through to it. Under the metal roof, it makes a pretty loud "thwap" so I don't feel too short changed.
I feel the same, my problem is I cant shoot the type of ammo I have at most ranges. I did invest in a .22 LR conversion, the best money I ever spent.

Make a trip to Norcross Gun Club and Range. They'll let you shoot any ammo you want as long as it is not tracer/incendiary. Up to .50 cal.
