I was dead set on a 338 LM but ended up getting this instead.

I have one as well. I screwed a black river tactical linear compensator on the end of it. Bought a 3 round mag . Put a Meosport r 3-15x50 scope on it. Removed the screw in sling mounts and got a QD sling for it. It was my deer rifle this past season.

It is heavy compared to my other deer rifles. Shoots 150 Winchester PowerPoints and 180 Sellier and Bellot SPCE ammo around 2 inch groups for me. It is the first rifle I have owned that does this with different bullet weights and the same zero.

Do you have a handicap course for someone with my mental retardation and fat ass?

Kidding. Sounds like a hoot. I may do just that. :)

I’ve only had 1 student that I couldn’t get to 1,000yds, and that’s because he was using a rifle/ammo combination that I had already told him wouldn’t go the distance. He made it to 800yds, which was exactly how far I told him he’d get.

What scope would you recommend for this rifle? If you could post a link to it on MidwayUSA I'll probably go ahead and get it.

I'm seriously considering coming to your event and I want to be prepared.

Scope are like tires, suppressors, and condoms. There is no one size fits all. On another thread you might consider outlining what your plans are and your budget and you can probably get some good suggestions. Shep ( CMshoot) is out Elk hunting until the 8th of Feb.
