I just put together a 6.5 PRC and I really should have done a little research on ammo price before hand. Oh well you live and learn. I ran across this Federal ammo and almost stepped on my jaw until I picked it up and snapped it back into position. If it would have been a 50 cal. that would have been believable but for a souped up 6.5 Creedmoor this was a little asinine. Just look!

Just drop a different caliber barrel on it and move on. This is the main reason I stick with the main stream calibers. If you can't afford to shoot it, then it is useless.

It’s for Federal custom shop ammo. There are plenty of less expensive alternatives available.

DJD !! You are right…..there ain’t no damned way I could afford to shoot anything like that.
Hell, if I didn’t cast and load I could afford to shoot at all !! Even the components are getting up there ! It is crazy !!
