I wouldn't sell any ARs or AKs right now.

So do you think a 13yo should be able to buy a pistol?

I did. I “bought” a Ruger single six 3 screw sometime between 12 and 13. Started with a 5 dollar bill at a gunshow. Bought a knife, and traded it from one thing to another all weekend and finally Sunday afternoon left with a single six.

Never shot anyone with it though.

Do you think it has anything to do with either sorry parenting or even in some cases over parenting as in kids that are way too sheltered?
As far as age goes I don't think there's any difference between 18 today in 2022 and when I turned 18 in 1988. I DO believe there is a big difference in parenting styles/rules and education styles and rules. 18 is 18. It's all in the upbringing and environment.
If you don't think there is a HUGE difference then you head is so far in the sand it's about to pop out in a rice field. There's a big difference between 18 now and just 10 years ago.

You can preach upbringing all you want, when the majority of kids are raised by single mothers struggling to get by, POS or completely absent fathers, and care more about their social media presence and how society views them more than actual morals and values. The fact is they are the majority and what you seek is the minority. Now factor in the media and general brainwashing by schools. You are even further in the small circle.

You can blame the parents all you want and you'd probably be right, but neither the government nor you can't fix that.

I already knew I can't fix it and the gubment has no interest in fixing it or any other problem.I was just saying that the chronological age is the age. If you see it different then I believe that you are seeing all the external environmental issues going on. Case and point. My daughter knows a girl down the street who is shall we say open for bidness even though she's almost 2 years younger. BOTH of her parents are " Gamers" which I find odd. Usually it's the husband but not both. This particular girl is not a head case or future shooter but she is somewhat of a trainwreck for such a young age. So some of your point is kinda correct here. But it's not social media in this case but video games that make the parents **** sorry.

Banning an age group from buying guns will just be conceding than gun bans work, and you will certainly be next, ****ing morons.
Especially when that age group isn't responsible for a lot of mass shootings. When another shooting happens its gonna be we didn't do enough we need to pass more drastic measures. Compromise after compromise until federal gun laws start looking like California's or either firearms are banned completely.
