For all the ass-hats recommending a better model: VOLUNTEER TO STAND IN FRONT OF HIS WHILE HE'S SHOOTING! I'm sure you'll be fine. It's sure to FTF or FTE or whatever all of the lowly ARs do.
What, no takers?
AR Snobs...put your money where your mouth is.
Back on topic. I'm a fan of the Miculek muzzle brakes. The guys next to me at the range, not so much. I'm also a fan of the Vortex Strikefire red/green dot scopes. One of my ARs has the magwell grip, for full-on Mall Ninja-ness. I also usually swap out the pistol grips. For the M4 stock, I like the CAA side saddle for a better cheek weld.
Good luck and enjoy your AR!
Theres nothing wrong with dpms. I used the m4a1 with the gov before the military. It was a dpms ..... No problems ever
Not being a snob. I've personally owned 2 (my first ARs) and had a catastrophic failure on one during a rifle comp.
Btw, how's the brake? I'm not familiar with it... And I too don't like pistol grips, very awkward grip.
