If you buy a $1000 Bosch Series 500 dishwasher they do not include everything you need to install it

My wife wanted the “super quiet” Bosch dishwasher.
I love my wife.
I bought her one……

And then I had to go buy all the “hidden cost” parts to install it.

You live. You learn.

P.S. I love my wife. But there are times when I wish my wife would be as quiet as that damn dishwasher.

I met you lovely wife several years back to pick up something I bought, and she was a good bit out of your league if I remember correctly...
We bought Kitchen Aid dishwasher 2-3 years ago and it's the quietest dishwasher I've never heard. The only way we hear anything is if someone puts a bowl lid or something similar on a middle shelf. I've installed close to 50 and unless the sales person talks you into an install kit, you'll have to reuse the old or go back and buy a set. I Always buy a new supply line that is designed to "shunt" the water flow if it detects a leak.

We had a Bosch, lasted @ 10yrs. Before that a Kenmore, lasted @23yrs. The new to us house had a GE, lasted @ 30yrs. Since Sears isn't really around anymore, we bought a Maytag this last time. We installed one in our old home before we sold it. Got to use it about a year before we moved. Really liked it. So when it came time to replace the one in our current residence, we bought another just like it

Old enough......LOL, my name is Count Dracula.........You didn't catch the part, the new to us house. We have history with the house, but we haven't lived here the entire time. The previous owners kept impeccable records

My wife loves the old fashion with an agitator top load less no digital. She and I might be old fashion but it worked the last 50 years that i remember, and yes it beats the old wringer type from when I remember growing up.

I had to give up washing dishes in my washing machine. The agitator would break a few things and the high speed spin would take care of the rest of the load.

Close enough, the prior owners where my in laws. My Wife has 53yrs and I have 43yrs history with this place. I was around when the kitchen was remodeled back in the 90s.
Never thought about owning this place, but the women had plans.
