I was on that bus in 1985. The experience changed my life forever. Not a day passes that I don't think about my time in the service. Make the best of it and serve proudly. For me it was an honor. Someone told me before I left to have a good camera with me when I got to my final duty station and it was good advice. I took lots of photos that I still treasure today. Good luck, I'm sure that you will make us proud!

Good luck. Just remember that no matter how bad it gets, it could always be worse. Meal times are a good thing to look forward to, they have to feed you and they tend to do it on a pretty set schedule. Stay away from MRE's with beans or tuna. Learn to eat fast.
