went to my first pheasant hunt yesterday. I was given a brand new silver pigeon as a gift and had a blast. can't wait to do more bird hunts.

Man, I used to pheasant hunt all the time with my dad when I was younger. I miss it. It's been 16 years since I shot a bird. I'm over due. We used to cook them in the crock pot with wild rice. Yum!
Been years since I've done that, but used to enjoy it when I got the chance.

There’s a place called Triple S Quail farm on I75 just south of Chattanooga in the Tunnel Hill area, they have both quail and pheasant and the price is very reasonable either with or without your own dog.
Me and some friends go there several times every season. I miss the pheasant hunting from my youth a lot and this is the closest most reasonable price place I know to get a fix.
