Well let me rephrase my statement to address your point.

I pay a HUGE amount of Federal Income tax ,and Medicare tax and SS tax and state tax etc.

They are ribbing me and sending the $$ elsewhere.

I don't think you are in that boat alone. When I retired, my federal income tax bill was over $50K by itself....single rate, tax to the state and SS maxed out...and Medicare the same 1.45% of gross as always. Worked from 14 until 62 years old and then just quit supporting the machine....I'm not one bit too proud to take that money...

I hear ya man. I have done about everything in life from owning a business and employing more than a few people to fighting wars for minimum wage. The government has screwed us all at one point or another. So me. I'll take back what I can get when I can get it.

They are ****ing us all for generations.
