A gun will separate the bullet from the case nicely.

But in all seriousness I've only ever used pliers, a bench vice, and some elbow grease. But I've never tried to reload them after that.
 
hammered / loaded is pretty nice after a 12 pack... lol

really though, i've seen the bullet pullers that look like a hammer and thought... do you really want to beat on a bullet with one of those?

and i agree... mine separate nicely in the chamber
 
I've been using the kinetic type for years. No problems at all. You're not pounding on the primers.

The .50 would present a size problem for any I've seen.
 
Inertia hammer but for 50BMG real problems. As far as reloading components you're probably OK with bullet I.d. and weighing them but what about the powder. I certainly wouldn't take a chance in trying to I.d. Powder
