information about frog lube

I love frog lube. It works if you do it right. That is, dissolve the oils, heat the metal, and apply, wipe off. Repeat with time.

Love me some FL. Anyone talking "cold weather failure" better have a video they made of it failing (not some over hyped competitor video or some hater trying everything possible from sand to baloney sandwiches to cause a failure that would **** up any lube) or you can go pack sand. All my weapons are FL'd and I hunted with my SBR this season. It was cold, wet, iced, frosted and didn't have one issue. Same for my Glock 19. Yes, I did actually shoot in those conditions with no problems. It's all about getting it right the first time.

My GF's weapon were also FL'd and had no issues this hunting season.

I've used Frog Lube for a couple years, and I've always been happy with it. I use both the paste and the liquid. The liquid does seem to thin out a bit over time. I don't use it that often, so my bottle lasts quite a long time.

I did find this stuff, Rand CLP, that has excellent reviews. And the price is certainly better than Frog Lube. So I am going to give it a try.

I used it per the instructions meticulously..and sparingly. Even if it is because of using to much imo its not worth the risk of your weapon not firing..this happended to a shotgun i had and a pistol...same argument goes for if it get mixed with a petroleum product..again not worth it
