Interesting new from Kel-Tec

I prefer the SU-16CA model for the more rugged front sight. It takes removable mags with the California fixed mag feature disabled. Very handy, reliable weapon. Ultra portable, folded or not.
Either one would make a great little back up. The front site on the SU16-B is a little weak however, I was thinking about equipping it with a 4× prism optic or something of that sort.

There's another 556 gun out that that also breaks in half and can easily fit in a back pack. Although you have to push two pins instead of one. No worries about breaking the front sight that thing is tapered pinned to the barrel and solid steel. It's also a pretty proven design used by first world militaries for decades. Can't remember the name of it though.

In for accuracy report of your ARs, fired while folded.

More sht to fail. I don't fold my rifles.

I also don't use handgun cartridges, resulting in handgun cartridge ballistics, out of rifles. But the hey, Keltec crowd is here to try and convince me why that is a good choice.

Lementing everything that came since the falling block was invented? Or the first weapon that wasn't a rock or a stick? Because it's more sht to fail?

PCCs predate Kel Tec by well over a century. They're useful in all kinds of ways, for chores and hobby enjoyment. Less noise. Less blast. Less expensive ammo that can also be used in common handguns. Easier to carry. Easier to store. Easier to suppress. Less wear and tear with each shot. Often legal in places where your preferred platform might not be. Often legal in hunting scenarios where your preferred platform might not be.

I understand it might not be your cup of tea. But you sound a lot like many who said similar things, the first time they saw an M-16, lamenting it wasn't an M-1 or M-14. And here we are, 65 years later.

I applaud any company that's prepared to innovate and risk the market. I enjoy seeing what production engineering twists Kel Tec come up with. I might buy one just to show my appreciation that they continue to think outside the box a little.

What? Is this your attemp to muddy waters and confuse people?

A rifle, chambered for a small pistol cartridge, is a complete waste. Get an APC, GHM, mp5, etc ,etc, etc. If you carry a full rifle, you may as well get the benefits that rifle cartridge provide.

If your argument is about range linking only, then whatever. It's a weak argument, but at least it's just for range fun. The funny part is, that the proponents of such stupidness always discuss them in terms of "deep carry," "back-up gun," Yada Yada Yada. In which any case of use for those is defense. I.e. lives are on the line. Ie, the user has handcuffed their effectiveness by neutering their rifle. You want discreet? Carry a handgun.

Yep, she dumb.

Trump sucks for the 2a.

But pre-emptive compliance on the part of some odtr's is not surprising in the least.
