The article you posted says Georgia "treats around 1,197 people for rabies exposure annually".
That series of shots is what I'm hoping to avoid.

When I was a young kid, 12-13, I used to deliver pamphlets, my first job.
Completely shocked by the body cam footage from the officer that stops at the point of the first shot fired.
He literally wouldn't have lasted one morning delivering pamphlets if that dogs behavior made him **** himself.

The body cam footage doesn’t show an aggressive dog. It shows a scared man and a confused dog. The dog stayed low in a passive posture. He could have just stood his ground or kicked the dog in the face. The dog would understand that.

I would not only like to know why he got out when he did, but why he got out at all. It appears he had no business there. Why get out? He told them to put the dog on a leash, they were complying, then he decides to get out. Why?

Gotta go make a report, a terrible leash law crime was violated, he must go make a report and write down names. What good is being a cop if you can't escalate normal behavior like kids playing with a dog into violence and penalties.

Animals need to be restrained. It's clear it turned aggressive.

I wouldnt want to be a cop in today's society...but IF I were...Im pretty sure I dont get paid enough to get bitten or carry treats for animals.
